By accessing or using the "DietAdvisorApp" application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, do not use the Service.
The content provided by DietAdvisorApp, including AI-generated food analysis and recommendations, is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
⚠️ DO NOT USE THIS APP IF:
• You have a history of eating disorders.
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding (without doctor approval).
• You have diabetes, severe food allergies, or other chronic conditions requiring strict dietary adherence.
AI Accuracy Warning: The AI food recognition is an estimation tool. It cannot detect hidden ingredients (oils, sugar, allergens) with 100% accuracy. Never rely on this app for insulin dosing or life-threatening allergy management.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or 911 immediately.
DietAdvisorApp is a nutrition guidance and educational application that:
1.1. Analyzes user-uploaded food images using Artificial Intelligence.
1.2. Estimates food portions using the Artificial Intelligence.
1.3. Offers general meal and recipe suggestions based on user-reported food availability.
1.4. Provides non-calorie-based suggestions to adjust meals.
1.5. Displays weight trend visualization only to users 16 years of age or older.
The Service does not calculate calories, does not provide medical nutrition therapy, and does not provide personalized medical advice.
2.1. Informational Purposes Only. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, not nutrition therapy, and not a substitute for professional healthcare guidance.
2.2. No Doctor–Patient Relationship. Use of the Service does not create a doctor–patient, dietitian–client, or healthcare provider relationship between you and MB “LP projektai”.
2.3. Consult a ProfessionalYou agree that you are solely responsible for consulting a licensed physician or registered dietitian before making any dietary changes.
You acknowledge that the food analysis, calorie estimations, and recipe suggestions are generated by Artificial Intelligence. The System may misidentify foods or miscalculate portion sizes. Cannot detect hidden ingredients (oils, sugars, allergens). You should never be relied upon this data for critical medical decisions (e.g., insulin dosage, allergen avoidance).
You acknowledge that dietary changes carry inherent risks. By using the Service, you voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, arising from your use of the Service.
5.1 Minimum AgeThe Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.
5.2 Users Aged 13–15Certain features (including weight trend visualization) are disabled for users under 16.
5.3 Parental Responsibility Users aged 13–17 represent that they have parental or legal guardian consent.
You retain ownership of images and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process it solely to provide the Service. You represent that you have the legal right to upload such content.
7.1. Paid Service. "DietAdvisorApp" is a paid service. The subscription price is indicated on the checkout page ($18.99/month).
7.2. Automatic Renewal. Payments are processed via "Stripe". Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
7.3. Cancellation. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Subscription" link in the app or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7.4. Refunds. As this is a digital service, payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MB “LP PROJEKTAI” SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING:
YOUR SOLE REMEDY IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICE.
12.1 Mandatory ArbitrationAny dispute shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, not court.
12.2 European Union Carve-OutThis arbitration provision does not apply to users residing in the European Union where such provisions are prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.
12.3 Class Action WaiverYou agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
